If that doesn&#8217;t work, please check the following things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do you try to connect to an <strong>SCX Advance 2.0<\/strong> track which does have the <strong>SCX Bluetooth Track Piece<\/strong> integrated? SmartRace for SCX Advance will not work with any other track. If you try to connect to a <strong>Carrera Digital<\/strong> track, please use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartrace.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SmartRace for Carrera Digital<\/a>. If you try to connect to a <strong>Carrera Go!!! Plus<\/strong> track, please use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartrace-goplus.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SmartRace for Carrera Go Plus<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Does your smartphone or tablet support at least\u00a0<strong>bluetooth 4.0?<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is&nbsp;bluetooth&nbsp;<strong>enabled<\/strong>&nbsp;on your device and is your device&nbsp;<strong>visible<\/strong>&nbsp;for other devices?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On Android: does SmartRace <strong>have permissions<\/strong> to use bluetooth? (Settings > Apps > Permissions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, make sure to check these two very important things:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-a098fcb8 gb-container-97cf5924\"><div class=\"gb-inside-container\">\n\n<p>The bluetooth connection between your device and the track <strong>must not be established manually<\/strong>! It will be established automatically once the app is started and the track is powered on. If you have ever tried to establish the connection manually before, please remove the device &#8220;SCX&#8221; from the list of known devices in the operating system of your device. Afterwards, please restart both the track and SmartRace.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-003256c4 gb-container-97cf5924\"><div class=\"gb-inside-container\">\n\n<p>Android 6 to Android 11 need the <strong>location services (GPS) to be enabled<\/strong> and SmartRace must have permissions to use them.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartrace.de\/en\/why-does-smartrace-need-permissions-to-use-location-services-on-android\/\">Here is why<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I cannot connect to my SCX Advance track When you power up your track and start SmartRace, the app should automatically connect to your track.
